Nick has wrapped the salt cellar, he is learning to be a wrapping Artiste! Ben is off to do Jury duty. He explains that he won’t be able to talk about the case with Susan at all.
Susan goes into Michael’s bedroom to put away the washing and finds Michael in bed with a girl. Susan comes out and walks straight into the wall. She has lost her sight with the shock. She explains to Abi it is because Michael’s room was a complete mess, and that she lost her sight once before due to the stress of taking her driving test.
When Ben arrives in the Jury room, he tries to be foreman, but Joanna tells him the correct procedure and puts Ben very firmly and quite literally in his place. Back at home, Nick is wrapping everything he can think of and Susan is trying to memorise the lay out of the house so Ben doesn’t notice she has gone blind.
Michael’s girlfriend comes down stairs and goes, leaving Susan still talking to her. Michael thinks she is selfish to have gone blind. Back in the jury room they are still introducing themselves. Finally they are ready to vote for the foreman, but Ben wants them all to go to the pub. Abi has put things that smell in various positions all around the room to help Susan disguise her blindness. Susan ends up throwing cheese straws at Ben, he thinks she is drunk. Susan tells Ben she has gone blind again.
When they are ready to go to bed, Ben finds the toothbrushes wrapped and the toilet wrapped too. Susan tells Ben about Michael being in bed with a girl, Ben is thrilled! The next morning, Ben is late for Jury service. They have voted Joanna foreman without him. Ben and Joanna do not get on. They disagree over the case and everything else too. Susan comes down ready for work, she has a tour to do, her make-up and clothes are terrible. Abi screams at her to shock her out of her blindness, and Nick tries hypnotism.
The jury still can’t agree. Susan returns with Nick who tried to help her with her tour, which was a disaster. Susan asks Abi to leave her and Michael alone. She asks Michael to apologise, but he refuses, he sneaks out while Susan is in the middle of telling him off. Ben starts to read Susan’s book to her, but that doesn’t help. Ben decides a visit to Michael may help. Nick has wrapped the entire landing. Ben goes to talk to Michael and asks him to tell Susan nothing happened between him and Fiona. Michael dejectedly tells Ben that actually nothing did happen anyway.
Back in the jury room, Ben has ordered the offending haddock, to prove his point. A fight ensues. Michael tells Susan he is going to wait until his wedding night before he has sex and her sight returns.
The final shot is of the entire family wrapped, sitting on the sofa.
