She has one line. Ben tries to boost her up. When Nick returns he is dressed as Jesus. He went to collect Susan and was given the lead, the part of Jesus. Susan is mortified. Ben tries to cheer Susan up, and then tells her he thinks she is jealous of Nick. Ben is still refusing to go to the dentist. Nick comes in and asks to run lines, which makes matters worse.

Susan says she will admit being a little jealous if Ben agrees to go to the dentist. Nick, still dressed as Jesus, threatens to send Michael to hell if he doesn’t save him any cereal. Michael says he’s already there. Nick thinks his new powers could heal Ben’s teeth.
Susan suggests Ben sees his old dentist, Roger Bailey.

Michael is back at the coffee shop, Janey arrives, on a weekend visit to a party. He is still upset about Sophie. Janey suggests she makes her jealous. Michael asks Abi if she would pretend to be his girlfriend. Ben finally visits the dentist and learns that Roger snr died, and Roger Jnr has taken over. He is newly qualified as a dentist and makes Ben very nervous. Ben leaves. Nick tries to tell Ben that Susan is terrible in rehearsals and that she is controlling, and disruptive and that if she doesn’t stop she will be sacked. Michael manages to make Sophie jealous when Abi kisses him infront of her. We see Susan dressed in her shepherd costume over acting and taking on the director. Finally, she is fired and Nick, rather half heartedly, offers to go with her.

Ben starts drinking whisky, as an anaesthetic for when he pulls his own tooth out. Abi offers to help and sits on the hyperdermic.
